Am I being led by love or pushed by fear? A wonderful question to ask.

This episode made me think of the “circling” prayers often found in Celtic Christianity. Do you know any of them?

So refreshing! As you say many times over, “I’m glad you’re here,” I’m equally glad you’re here and I have you to lean on if you will, as I go on this podcast journey you offer. Thank you for helping me make room for my soul to breathe!

“The truth is I can’t prevent storms from coming, but I can decide not to invent my own.” Yes.

Thank you, Emily. Needed to hear this.

An excellent second podcast! Thank you for providing a transcript. I listen during my morning commute. The transcript facilitates safe driving instead of looking down to jump backwards to rehear a key point. I let fear push me around, and it stops now. Thank you, and please keep podcasting.

Hi Emily! I just wanted to say that I’ve really enjoyed these first three episodes of your podcast, and I’m looking forward to (hopefully many) more. I love both the content and the overall tone. On a funny note, last night in a dream I was facing a decision in an absurd situation, and my dream self thought of the podcast and asked if I was being led by love or pushed by fear. You know you’ve reached a listener when her subconscious is quoting your wise words! 🙂

I LOVE your podcast. Your sweet and so soothing voice – such blessings. As a 50 something empty nester embarking on a new season and in a time of great transition – this is so helpful.
Your writing and speaking is so lovely and lifegiving. “Am I bring led by love or am I being pushed by fear? Timely and ever powerful question!

Thank you for this. I needed this today with two decisions to make and both bringing huge fear.

Thanks for the transcript. I have a post it at my desk that says F.E.A.R. = False Expectations of Actual Reality.
This helps me put Fear into perspective. I also have to remind myself not to walk in fear, but “perfect love drives out fear”. Over the years the Lord is helping me leave worry with him. Hard but I am getting better at it.

Thank you for this episode! The quote from Shaun Groves was instrumental in opening my heart to hosting not just one, but two, orphans over the upcoming Christmas holiday. I love your podcast!

Thank you for this. Fear is a factor in my making and delaying a decision on far too many occasions. This is excellent food for thought as I mull over a decision (one over which I have mulled, hemmed, and hawed, for far too long!) I look forward to the rest of this series. Thanks!
