Dear Emily, I have to admit, I wasn’t excited to listen to a podcast about the election–so often people do this saying they won’t reveal their own political agenda, but then spending the entire podcast doing exactly that.
But yours was different. You gave advice that works for election season and for all of life. It filled me with hope and caused me to pray for as many people to hear your words as possible. You reminded me to emphasize the love part of doing my next right thing in love.
Thank you!
Beth Swale
I’m so glad to hear this, Beth!
Oh Emily, thank you for quiet reason! There has been so very much noise over and about the choices before us. Praying for reason to prevail. For compassion and grace to be evident in Christ ‘s followers.
Thank-you for this enlightening and God-breathed podcast Emily!❤
I had gotten out of the habit of listening since I’m not in the car nearly as much as I was pre-pandemic but in my anxiety this morning I wondered if you’d made an episode that might soothe my election day anxiety. Thank you so much for your calm assurance and encouragement. I am claiming these mantras today.
I wish the world would stop to listen to your expressions and just breath. You have answered the question, “Who is my neighbor?”
