One cause of decision fatigue I see may not be a result of having a massive amount of important decisions to make. It can be that, but often decision fatigue comes when we refuse to acknowledge the weight of the small hurts, annoyances, dismissals, and offenses we carry around all day, every day.
So when we’re confronted with the necessary task of having to make a decision about our work, our home, our schedule, or on behalf of other people, well. We’re kind of just done with it all.
One way to open up some space? Refuse to take offense. It’s not easy, but it is interesting. Let’s get curious about it. Listen in.
